Music festivals have become the new runway for street style and blossoming trends in the fashion world. With the festival season happening all year long it allows for endless style inspirations and countless opportunities to show off your creativity. From supermodels to celebrities, fashion icons from around the world fabulously suit up for these musical occasions. With each festival having its own signature style here are three looks sure to have the crowd cheering.

1. The Modern Bohemian

As an ode to the original music festival Woodstock, ladies break out your best hippie chic ensemble! Instead of sticking with the basic maxi skirt and peasant blouse shake it up a bit with a few modern trends. Try a pleated, solid-color maxi skirt with a printed bralet, floral headpiece, and wooden wedges perfect for a festival like Coachella.

2. Laid Back Rock ‘n’ Roll

Although an outdoor festival may not be suitable for the classical leather jacket and pant pairing that dominates rock concerts, this doesn’t mean you still cant draw inspiration from that era. Draw from several genres of rock music to create your perfect outfit. Pair ripped, studded denim shorts with slouchy concert tee, a pair of Dr. Martens, and tons of silver and gold jewelry great for San Francisco’s Outside Lands in Golden Gate Park.

3. Indie Inspiration

The final festival look is hipster perfection. With such artists as Bon Iver and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes sporting the effortless and unique clothing, this look has concertgoers everywhere adopting this style. For Lollapalooza start with a colorful romper and metallic belt, add a pair of studded flats, a floppy hat, and stone rings for a dazzling urb look.
