I'm Becca Smith. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I am currently a counselor at Aurora University, Aurora, IL. I graduated with my Master's degree in Counseling in 1999 from Bradley University, Peoria, IL. In 2005 I began working in private practice. I worked with people with addictions, eating disorders, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and depression. I also worked with marital couples in counseling. I recently moved closer to the suburbs from Peoria, IL. When looking for a new job, I decided I wanted to work with college students again. I started at Aurora University as a counselor in the fall semester of 2010. Even though I no longer work with marital couples, I find the topic of relationships comes up often with college students. When I look back, it has always been a major part of a lot of my counseling sessions over the years. I have learned so much from listening to people over the last decade. I thought it would be great to be able to share my experience and insights with you. I hope it helps!

Hello! My name is Melisa (with one 's') and I'm a Harvard University undergraduate concentrating in biomedical engineering. I hope one day to become a surgeon, so basically to waste away my golden years in medical school. During the summer I work on the MESSENGER Mission to Mercury at the JHU Applied Physics Laboratory, which isn't exactly related to my major, but it's close to home so I get home-cooked meals and my laundry done for me. At school I'm heavily involved in Model United Nations and watching a little too much Grey's Anatomy (dreaming about becoming Christina Yang).
