Clean & Clear Advantage Acne System

Price: $15-$18 depending on retailer and sales

Where to purchase: mass retailers such as Walmart and drug stores

This acne system is a 3-step kit that really deep cleans and makes your skin feel smooth. It includes cleanser, moisturizer and spot treatment. I have loved using this product and have seen great results. I have never had a big acne problem, just bumps every here and there, but this system has cleared almost all of my acne. My skin is more on the dry side, and it does a great job of moisturizing it and making it hydrated. I would recommend this for those with any skin type, although if you have sensitive skin you may not want to use it everyday. All the products are not heavily scented and all but the spot treatment are very light.

Step 1: Acne Control Cleanser

I really like this cleanser. It is a peroxide based face wash that really makes your face feel fresh and clean.  This cleanser tingles, in a good way, but be careful not to get it in your eyes. If you do, you will be very sorry since your eyes will burn for 5-10 minutes. But otherwise, this is a great face wash that works. I recommend using it every day unless you have very dry skin.

Step 2: Acne Control Moisturizer

This moisturizer is amazing. It is light, unscented and is absorbed quickly. You do not need a lot and it really does rehydrate skin well.  Sometimes I may not use the cleanser, but I always use the moisturizer.

Step 3: Spot Treatment

This is the one part of the kit that I could live without. I don’t totally dislike it, but I do not use it a ton. It is a small tube of spot treatment which is meant to be used on pimples to diminish the size and redness. This spot treatment does help diminish the size of the pimple, but I do not think it really helps it go away any faster. It is a bit thick and sticky, so I only use it in dire situations.

Overall, I give this acne system 4 out of 5 stars. The cleanser and moisturizer are great items I use everyday. The spot treatment is good to keep in a travel bag, backpack or purse for sudden pimple pop ups. I recommend this to those with moderate to dry skin and those with moderate to minimal acne.
