Any student currently studying in the field of healthcare has an excellent chance to fund their education with a huge scholarship opportunity from the makers of TYLENOL®, according to this press release.
The McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC Inc. has announced the opening of the 24th annual TYLENOL® Future Care Scholarship and is now accepting applications through June 30, 2014. This scholarship is open to both undergraduate and graduate students who have completed “at least one year of undergraduate or graduate study by the spring of 2014 at an accredited two or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school.”
Anyone who enters will be in the running for one of the 40 scholarships in the amounts of $5,000 and $10,000 out of the total pool of $250,000 and will be assessed on their leadership qualities, academic performance and community involvement. This scholarship is McNeil’s way of helping to build the next generation of healthcare professionals. In the words of Emile Lee, Vice President of Communications, McNeil Consumer Healthcare:
“The TYLENOL® brand is dedicated to caring for people who are committed to caring for others and our scholarship program allows us to encourage and empower students who are passionate about making an impact on the increasingly important future of healthcare.”
This scholarship comes at a perfect time, as healthcare is one of the fastest growing fields of employment in the United States, expected to add around 5 million jobs between 2012 and 2022 (an annual growth of 2.6 percent). It’s a growing field—with a great opportunity to finance yourself from the makers of TYLENOL®–so all of you future nurses, doctors, pharmacists and dentists should go ahead and apply! Anyone else considering switching majors?

Hey guys,
I’m busy building a really innovative tool in another business I’m starting. This tool was made to help writers like you keep track of how well their articles perform online, and build a portfolio from all the publications they’ve written for. It’s a pretty ambitious project that I have been working on since late February. I’ve built a…[Read more]

In reply to: Linzy Anna posted an update in the group Pitching Article Ideas 4th of july article: fun drink recipes for the 4th (all red, white and blue themed) How to add pizazz to natural eyes for summer (adding gold glitter) ViewI think writing about some of the fundimentals will be great. Check structure or something like that I see is popular. I’d suggest to loon at Pinterest posts and see what makeup pins are popular and about makeup. The reiterate that and maybe improve on it. It will be a big hit!
As for the 4th of July one, anytime this month would work. Maybe do…[Read more]

Sure, I think the video one would be great. The only thing I would say, is that it has to be filmed in HD (minimum 720). As far as the topic itself of gold glitter, I would rather do something that covered makeup fundamentals. Let me know your thoughts on this.
I love the 4th of July idea! 🙂
