hey’ve done it again. But this time, they’ve stepped up. I’ve been waiting for this moment since he appeared shirtless in She’s the Man; Channing Tatum is People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive. I can say I lived through the best.

Think Mila Kunis topping Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive, (by the way, good choice guys!) but bigger. Women typically don’t drool over the hot of the hot; we so classily keep it mostly to ourselves and our fellow females. But People allows us to go full man-sees-a-hot-woman when the Sexiest Man Alive issue hits newsstands each November.

This dancing hottie joins the likings of Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds, Johnny Depp, Matt Damon, George Clooney,  twice, and so many more attractive men. Now, I’ve heard some sorority sisters say they’d have liked Ryan Gosling winning the title, but between Ryan and Channing, Chan had Magic Mike propelling him forward.

This 32-year-old Alabama native said his first thought when finding out his new title was:

“Y’all are messing with me.”

Let’s not even pretend not to talk about that southern twang and humbleness. Sign me up… I’ll be his second wife. Oh, did I forget to mention he’s married?

Jenna Dewan-Tatum, yeah wouldn’t you take his name, is also a known celebrity, and she’s just as hot as her husband. The two have started talking kids and let’s be honest ladies, I’m not ready to be a step-parent but if necessary, I’d step up, as I’m sure so many of you would.

On a serious note, Channing is going to look good pushing a stroller in his famous white wife beaters and gray sweats.

Though Channing outshined all others, there were so many more honorees worth mentioning, such as: Blake Shelton, Ben Affleck, Chris Hemsworth, “New Girl” star Max Greenfield and Tatum’s Magic Mike co-star Matt Bomer.

People‘s list isn’t the only one Channing is topping, GQ named him Movie Star of the Year.
