1. Electronic Daisy Carnival
The Electronic Daisy Carnival is an annual festival-scale rave that’s been a huge part of the West Coast electronic dance music scene since 1997. It became the world’s largest E-music festival outside of Europe–reaching masses of 140,000 attendees at its original LA Memorial Coliseum and Exhibition Park location. 2. Ultra Music Festival
Tiesto, Kraftwerk, Skrillex, Miike Snow – just a taste of the huge names headline next year’s Ultra Music Festival. Those names only should be reason enough to buy tickets to one of the largest and oldest EDM festival in the United States. Next year, UMF will be celebrating its 15th birthday, so it should be extra raging. Click here for the Ultra Music Festival’s official web site.

3. Electric Zoo
New York City has a lot to offer when it comes to local EDM culture, and New Yorkers really know how how to party. Electric Zoo shows NYC’s love for EDM with a festival taking place on Randall’s Island park each Labor Day weekend. With buzz names like David Guetta, Pretty Lights, Laidback Luke, and Hardwell on the bill, this party is actually a bit like a zoo…pretty damn wild. 4. TomorrowLand
Only the biggest EDM fans know that the best festival to head to in late July is located in DreamVille, Belgium. Tomorrowland features top artists like Avicii and Ferry Corsten, and world-class DJ’s have made a name for themselves performing at these festivals. Art, debauchery and some of the finest dance music come out for this show. Click here for the Tomorrowland’s official web site.
5. Global Gathering
Armin Van Buuren coined the Global Gathering as one of the most “essential” music festivals in the world. The event, hosted in July by a different country every year is known for having the best lineups of any festival. This statement is only backed up by the fact that the event attracted more than a quarter of a million people last year. Click here for the Global Gathering’s official web site.
